Learn More About Therapy

Where are you located?

My office is located at

315 S. Beverly Dr. Ste 307

Beverly Hills, CA 90212

How do I know if I’m picking the right therapist?

Finding the right therapist can be a challenge – from all of the different types of therapy “modalities,” degrees, and licenses, questions about insurance, and trying to figure out the right fit among all of the different therapy websites. I am happy to walk you through your confusion about any of the above and offer you a free consultation to see if we are a good fit for each other.

A common misconception is that your therapist should have similar life experiences or the same problems as you do. While it is important to feel comfortable with your therapist, the importance of a shared history is often overstated. What is important and often ignored is the amount of personal psychotherapy that a therapist has had themselves.

Along with my graduate training and postgraduate fellowship, I have spent hundreds of hours on the other side of the therapy office as a patient in my own personal psychotherapy.

What type of therapy do you practice?

My two-year postgraduate fellowship was in psychodynamic psychotherapy. The depth of my training in psychotherapy allows me to draw from many different theories and modalities so that I can serve you most effectively. You may find more information about how I practice on the about page, and I am happy to answer any questions you have as well.

Questions About Your Session

How long are sessions?

Individuals – 50 minutes

Couples – 50 and 75 minute sessions available

How often will we meet?

How often we will meet is something that we will decide together. On average, I see most patients between 1 to 3 times per week.

Since the type of work I do looks at the root of your issues and is predicated on safety and openness, increased frequency may help you reach your goals faster.

What is your fee?

My standard fee is $250 for a 50-minute session. I have some availability in my practice to offer a reduced rate to those that are motivated to work together but cannot afford my full fee. Please contact me to discuss.
